Some stories begin in fear, not joy.
This is Malvika’s story — one of resistance, transformation, and the quiet bond that reshaped everything.

Told in her own words.
Her Story:
My baby wasn’t part of the plan.
At least, not so soon.
My pregnancy was a nightmare —
one I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
It was that bad.
I couldn’t digest the fact that I had to take care of another human being
when I could hardly take care of myself.
I wasn’t okay.
And I never thought I would be.
But when he was born…
all those feelings vanished.
I didn’t lift a finger to make them go away.
They were just… gone.
The worry.
The doubt.
The tension.
Gone.
I became a MOM.
A companion for a tiny human who knew nothing but me —
my voice,
my smell,
my warmth.
The way he slept in my arms,
the way he found comfort in my heat —
it was precious.
He is my precious.
— Malvika
Motherhood doesn't always begin with certainty.
Sometimes, it begins with fear — and becomes something sacred in the quiet.
Thank you, Malvika, for sharing your story with such honesty and grace.
If you have a story to share — tender, raw, imperfect, or powerful — I’d be honored to hold it.
