It is almost a year since we got married.
I am unsure if time flew or if it was slow but a lot of things happened in a span of a year. Right now, I miss the events leading up to the wedding.
I never expected in my wildest dreams to have celebrated my wedding this way and it would have never happened if it weren't for my Kent family.
I miss those days of movie nights and wedding planning. I love how you guys were more excited about it than I was.
The wedding was a whirlwind event especially with working out the all the details amidst the constantly changing pandemic restrictions. I had these wonderful people stepping up to responsibilities they didn't have to take on but which they did happily.

The two months prior to the wedding all of us kept busy with planning, dance practices till 2am and shopping and you guys threw a surprise bridal shower in between all this. The effort you have put into it still makes me feel overwhelmed with love and gratitude. Shoutout to Appu and Adi, choreographers extraordinaire.

My dad always said that Kent family will be a call away and it's true. The day before the Engagement party, I remember the support and concern when my dad hurt his ankle and how everyone scrambled to fix the leak in the marquee when it started raining on the day of the party and the day before the Haldi event, I remember how all the uncles and aunties and everyone were in our floor, but most of all, I remember the general merriment and celebration of those days. It warms my heart each time I think of it. The days where the front door was kept open and welcome because it was pointless to close it with everyone being home all the time.

My wedding would have been wonderful but you made it extraordinary. I do not have enough words to express myself here.
Taking these memories with us as we mark our first anniversary, with all of us scattered over the globe.
Much love to you.
